Hedeturist offers simple and pleasant self-catering accommodation.

There are beds for 40 people, with comfortable accommodation in one of the 10 rooms. Each room has a washbasin, and there are shared showers and toilets in the corridor.

There are also two pleasant guest kitchens where guests can cook their own meals, make a cup of coffee, and meet other visitors.

In addition, there is a basement level with a lounge area where it is possible to watch TV, play table tennis, billiards, or other board and party games. There is also a sauna and shower.

About Us

The accommodation is owned and run by a number of co-owners. It was started by outdoor and ski enthusiasts from Uppsala in 1972, when the house was built with space for members and a rental section for guests. There are now eight co-owners, all from different parts of Uppland.

One of the early enthusiasts was “Broby Kalle”, who for many years drove busload after busload of young people from Uppsala to Hede. These were school trips and training camps of all kinds. Even then, this was good and affordable accommodation for many.

Today, it is aimed at everyone who wants simple accommodation and to enjoy nature, whether a single person or a whole group wanting to stay together. It really suits everyone!
